I found a free base human model online and worked up some Zbrush, recreated the face to look like my friend. Retopologized the model in zbursh. Then I took the model into Maya, created a fancy yancy skeleton rig in T pose. Lastly, I took some photos of myself in various poses, posed the model in Maya and took it back into Zbrush for some touch up.
